Mambalam

Mambalam also identified as Old Mambalam is a previous dwelling region and lone of the oldest vicinities in Chennai, India. It is sited in the center of the city, to the west of T nagar. Mambalam is well linked to the various portions of the city by both bus and train. The closest bus terminus is placed in T. Nagar and next to the railway station is in mambalam. Although previously a residential region, Mambalam has a lot of restaurants, banks and other retail outlets. Also in this area are two historic Hindu temples, the Kothandaramaswami Temple glimpsed to God Rama and the Kasi Viswanathar temple represented to Lord Shiva. Sathyanarayana temple and Ayodhya Mandapam are other attention able regions of religious significance.
